Just spent an hour trying to get my Xbox 360 to actually connect to Xox Live. After finally remembering to set up a network wizard thingy, all I now need to do I to sort out the MTU. Which I've done before, but that was not with cable broadband so I don't know how to do it this time. Not that I can remember precisely how I did it last time...
Then of course Xbox Live has to be actually working... There may have been some calling of the helpline thing... Xbox Live is down for maintenance today until 00:00!!!!!
The propting of this desparate bid for connectivity is the arrival of my new game. Which needs Xbox Live. Which I didn't know when I bought it and WASN'T pointed out on the about part of the description.
Although saying that I'm not sure if it needs Xbox Live, or just has downloadable content like Oblivion... er I don't want to unwrap it incase I have to send it back... But... I think It's just content... so my frantic wiring was slightly duh... oh. 
Let's find out... ... ....
