It is 3am.
I am calming down after asking the loud woman next door to keep it down:
*knockity knock knock*
....
"Hello?" (door still closed)
"Hi, wherever you're having your conversation it's going straight through to my bedroom." (VERY POLITELY)
(Opens door, she's fully clothed, I'm in dressing gown of purpleness)
"Oh I'm ever so sorry, I never realised..."
More apologies continue.
She was nice! Am sooooo glad I didn't scream at her and hit her with a banister 
Took a hell of a lot of fury to get me out of my bed and into dressing gown, so I am amazed at my calm, polite delivery of sentence. And that I'd managed to form one.
Was shaking when I got back inside my flat, adrenaline really doesn't like me.
...Oh excellent! Her fella just left without any slamming of doors!
NB if anyone has knowledge of Spaced: imagine the paintballing episode.... think back to Tim's comments on how it went... he didn't set him on fire. I want bonus points for also not doing that. (There may have been some shouting at the wall last time she woke me up though
