Amazon cannot fulfil my oder of: Toll the Hounds by Steven Erikson.
Not impressed and sent them a complaint.
Not gonna wait for the small paperback, I'm gonna take my business elsewhere!
There are no words for how pissed off I am!

How annoying! It was the first time I purchased some stuff from there last night and hopefully they are alright!
oh I've bought loads off them before, they rarely cock up, so why they choose to now escapes me ![]()
Hmm. Not come across this guy, just googled him. May have a look see.
Have you ready any Terry Goodkind?

//yes//
OMG how marvellous is that series? I picked the first one up at a friend's house, and was hooked after a couple of chapters - there were only four books in the series then. My parents borrowed them and were hooked, several of my friends have fallen prey too. It's like crack.
I fucking LOVED the first four, then felt he kind of lost his way a bit, but the last three made up for it. I just wish he didn't recap each book in the narrative all the time - dude, we read them already! Anyone stupid enough to start on number 7 //deserves// to be confused.
Landers won't read them. I almost left him over it. Not really, but you get the point. It's almost a deal-breaker.
You do know he's part of cult, though, right? I only found out about 2 years ago. I was very disturbed. The series is like a recruitment scam.
no I did not know that ![]()
I do know that certain bits of his and the wheel of time fella are um //exactly the fucking same// but didn't mind that much.
Am only up to number um 8? Only read them 2 years ago so am waiting a bit for the newer books.
The series is finished now, the last one was number 11, Confessor, out last year.
Anyway, yeah, google "Objectivism" - it's a movement founded by a lady called Ayn Rand - basically a cult that covets a world where the laws are similar to what Richard preaches in all the books, about standing up for yourself and not allowing evil to happen. Doesn't sound bad, but a lot of it completely undermines things like the police and the army and stuff.
werl if we were all such //nice// people we wouldn't need police or army. Idiots, human nature includes rebelion.
BOL, maybe you are an objectivist already.
Ha! No, but would be a ncie place to live for ooo a week, then people would lose their niciness and all hell would break out. *sigh*
Laws need to be enforce as there's always some //lazy// bastid that doesn't want to pull his weight...
