Yesterday my friend had the gall to say that a dedicated gamer wouldn't touch a wii with a barge-pole!

1. I'm buying it mainly for two game types: Zelda and Resident Evil. My Gamecube games strangely don't work on thin air and the revamped Resident Evil One is most excellent! Buying a console so you can play a small number of cherished games on it is far more gamer than buying one cos it is "cool".

2. Pikmin and other such genre games. Only on Nintendo :yes: I love Pikmin (and Pikmin 2) and look forward to more of the same innovative and adorable games.

3. Sticking to Playstations is sooooo close minded about other games, I can't even begin to slate my friend for this attitude.

4. My PS3 has been gathering dust since I got WoW but it certainly doesn't mean I'm not going to play it again, I'd never sell it and the only reason I sold my last wii was because of a nasty Manic episode of over spending by about £1500. Selling my wii got rid of my overdraft and was very sensible and difficult.
Avid readers will remember my post about what games I've ordered for this and next year, they are varied, 1 pc, 2 X-box 360, and 2 PS3. There will probably be a few wii and Gamecube games added now, but will try to make their arrival in 'dry' months.

5. It doesn't matter what kind of console I buy, what matters in the "cool" stakes are the games I buy. The fuckwit.
