Parents are insane.
As a divorcee I was 'fairly' recently flabbergasted by my dad:
in response to an email from me he tried to grill me on who I was 'dating'.
My reply was not polite. And I haven't spoken to him since!
I mean since he and my mum split up when I was 5/6 there were sporadic visits and holidays with him, but in my adult life I've seen him 4 times. In 7 years.
He makes no effort to stay in contact with me or my bitcho sister, we have to make the first move everytime.
Sure he has a different family that takes up his time, but srsly!

Not even gonna start on my mum!
