Police were unable to persuade him to board?!
WTF?
They're police!
Cuff him and man-handle him aboard!
He's gonna get creamed over here

Fair enough about jurisdiction issues, but still! Is hardly the police at their best!
I agree with SeasideMan on this. Done his time, put him on the sex offenders register, it's not as if he is not high profile and would be able to get away with it now is he?
Research and statistics show that it is the people that are close to the families of someone who has suffered child abuse rather than a complete strangers, so you are more likely to be felt up by an uncle or your gran than the creepy looking bloke at number 69 who probably doesn't keep sweets in his pocket nor does his pet labrador look sexy.
er he's more likely to kill his victims actually.
It's an incurable preference. If wasn't so horrific it would count as a fetish as it's the only thing that arouses these people.
Vulnerable relatives are easier for people to keep quiet and they are generally in more contact with them anyway.
where is the direct relationship between someone who is the same as Glitter with someone who is going to kill, that makes no sense.
The whole nonsense and media badgering of the man makes no sense and makes them nearly as bad as the person's crime.
Headline "Man fists children" , give us all a break and report some proper stories BBC..as bad as The Sun and all of it's readership.
p.s I hate Glitter.
ooookaaaaay. you have zero insight into human nature. If he fails to keep his lust under control he will be even more incensed to hide this. The best and easiest way of doing this is killing any witnesses. Namely the victim.
Duh much!
Media badgering comparable to raping children? er no.
I'm thinking that we aren't going to get on here. Maybe you shouldn't make any more comments on this post or blog.

"If he fails to keep his lust under control he will be even more incensed to hide this" your opinion, many assumptions, I just happen to disagree that's all, nothing personal.
"Media badgering comparable to raping children? er no" can you tell myself where I said it was comparable? "nearly as bad" does not mean a comparrison, again my opinion, nothing personal.
As for your last bit about we are not going to get on, well that is strange as I am a person commenting on something that has the comments left open, freedom of opinion or speech is it not? If that offends you well I must say it could not possibly be what I have written as it is all non offensive and simply one other human's perspective and views.
Have a nice day

You missed out an important detail:
"the British policeman accompanying Glitter had been unable to persuade him to board the plane to the UK"
British police have no jurisdiction in Thailand. But even if they did, he's done his time and they can't make him do anything except sign the sex offenders register if he does get back to Britain. If I were him I wouldn't come back to the UK either: the press would hound him to death.
