Train ticket from Stevenage to London £10.50! Is most expensive mile-for-mile in country, I think. (ok, not strictly relevant - but why do train fares vary so?)

Dif train companies! My return from not lincoln to heathrow cost £55, tho that was with my discount card, so I got a third off.
Also the other month I visited the Isle of Wight, n left it too late for advance booking dicount, the fare there was higher than the fare back...
